Kids grow up so fast these days

Remember the baby robins from last week? They're already the avian equivalent of teenagers. At casual glance, it's hard to tell if this is the nestling or the parent.
I have a couple more snapshots I'll put up on flickr.

I came across your blog through a comment left on naturesdetails blog and wanted to tell you what a great blog. Loved the detail about wildlife and plants, etc.
Thanks, Karrie - I'm learning as I go along and hope I'll be able to improve photography, writing, and observation as I learn. I have some great examples to emulate.
Hey, Wren! I just got buzzed the other morning by a male Bluebird! That was a first.
I came out to my car and I guess that I startled the baby because he flew straight into the side of my neighbor's house.
Happily, he was only stunned for a bit; however, as he was flying away from me, his daddy took a buzz by my head to warn me away.
Thanks for the post on my blog today!
Close encounters with nature have their drawbacks, Paul. :) Thanks for stopping by!
